More Changes

Due to a long, hard think and consideration I have decided to remove all my works of fiction and poetry from my blog, and will not be posting any future works of fiction or poetry - of any great length, at least.

The reasons are of a personal, creative and copyright driven nature. I apologise, but hope for those of you whom enjoyed my writing will understand. Thank you.

  1. Yay! Keep your first rights, Mark. Does that mean you're on the submission treadmill?

  2. By the way, I've started my research for the Nightbreed story today. Are you in?

    1. Apparently we should all do one thing each day that scares us, so this is mine - YES.

The feeling is one of going from the paddling pool and jumping into the swimming pool's deep end. Just hope I can stay afloat ;)

Thank you for having the confidence in me, Debs.

  3. I think you've made a good decision. I've seen friends have entire novels lifted and pirate-published on Amazon.

    1. God, that must be awful! I think I'd throw a blue fit if I were any of your friends having that happen. Thank you for your support, Maria, it's very much appreciated :)

Now all I have to do is start blogging about a wider topic base?

  4. This is your site, share only what you feel comfortable with... we come by cause you do share interesting items. I want to know more about the "Nightbreed" research... we talking "Cabal" or something else...

    1. Cheers Jeremy, and I'm always pleased to see you drop by. As for the research, you might be better advised to swing by Deborah's blog and get the low down directly from there.

I'm (in a way) treating Debs as my 'boss', so I'll leave it up to Deborah to do any answering :)

  7. Like Jeremy said, this is your site, you control what you share. Technically everything you write is automatically copyrighted and you own it, but there are too many unscrupulous people are out there willing to pirate and plagiarize. They make me so angry. I do hope you're seeking publication though, I'd love to see your work in print and on the shelves. (:
