Keanu is Back... So Am I :)

Still coping with the dregs of the after effects of my lumbar puncture but at least able to look at the pc screen without feeling my eyes are about to explode, I discover this beauty waiting for me; the latest film offering starring Keanu Reeves - 47 Ronin, due out in December 2013.

Basically, it's Japanese sword 'n' sorcery at its best, just the way I like it (outside of Anime & Manga).

Mark K said...: I have to agree, though I hadn't heard about this particular film until the day of posting, but it certainly ticks all the right boxes for me, and oriental myths and legends are a wealth of film script material - it then just boils down to who has the skill and talent to do it justice. I think we've been eclipsed by the Marvel franchise to look beyond our noses of late.

Mark K said...: Oddly, my eyes are aching a wee bit, so maybe I've over done it a tad. But regarding young Mr KR, I think he's got better as an actor with age. He looks especially good for this role, but I may be proved wrong, who knows? December will out.
