Chillin' Out Ambient

Regular, and semi-regular visitors to my blog should know me well enough by now and my 'tastes' in music and if I ever find something I feel is worthy of a sharing moment, then here it'll be.

Just returned from my physio session and sitting at the pc chilling out to random music via the mighty wonder that is YouTube, and lo! Here be a wonderful ambient track by a couple of collaborators know as Miyuki & Jan Amit (the latter is one artist I was searching for when finding this).

The following link takes you to Jan Amit's stream on Soundcloud - a young and talented musical artist I think you'll agree. So, with less babble from me, and straight to the track, entitled, ' Sublime Moments '. Pin back your lug holes and prepare to be chilled. And if this doesn't do it, take a valium-thingy.

And here, for the ambient purists amongst you out there, here is the original track from Jan Amit that brought me to his musical talent.
An pure ambient track entitled, ' Around '. I'd be interested to read your thoughts on both tracks and whether or not you like them, or if it has turned you onto the ambient path? Enjoy.

    1. Chillin', relaxing, meditating - whatever you want to call it, I feel it is massively important in a person's life, especially in today's hectic society and all the pressures that come with it. So glad we are of a like mind here :)

      Loving your avatar, btw ;)

    2. Yeah, I don't buy into the hectic, do way too much, self-imposed pressure kind of living. Nah. No fun there.

PS: Thanks about headache tip. That was Tim from Gothridge Manor, he's my hubby but I call him Frankenberry. Or Poopyhead. But no, I didn't know about the injections. Neat stuff.

      Happy Weekend, Mark K.

PPS: Thanks. I like to wear a hat this time of year.

  2. Oooo, I like the track. I really need to take some time out to just chill...but these next few weeks are going to be antipodal to anything related to 'chillin.' Sometimes, I hate the holidays. On a happier note, at least there's chocolate. :)

    1. 'Antipodal', eh? Word of the day, maybe? I like it :)

And you also used today's magic word: "Chocolate". Your prize of free chocolate equating to your body weight will be on its way soon. Just need to know how heavy you are :P

    2. I weigh 5 tons. So when does my chocolate arrive? ;)

  3. Loved both these songs, and so did the cat (they made him fall asleep!). Always been on a bit of an ambient path, but I'm definitely going to look up more of this music. Thanks for sharing!

  4. My pleasure, Raquel. Ambient is a beautifully soothing, and welcoming path to tread - at least to those with the right mindset. All music has it's time and place, but I have to be honest, when sat at the desk trying to get the old creativity going, this music is an amazing catalyst.
